Mobile Chat — Free Chat Rooms on Your Phone, iPhone and Android
Free mobile chat that works in your phone's browser, on iPhone and Android. No download needed. Chat rooms, private messages, pictures and voice notes.
Made for phones
Most people use Chatiw App on a phone. It works in Safari, Chrome, Samsung Internet and Firefox. Open chatiw.app, pick a name and you are chatting. Nothing to download.
On iPhone
Open chatiw.app in Safari. To get an icon on your home screen, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. It then opens full screen, like an app.
Voice notes, pictures and voice calls all work on iPhone once you allow the microphone or camera.
On Android
Open chatiw.app in Chrome, or install the Chatiw app from the Chatiw app page. With the app, long-press a GIF on any website, tap Share image and pick Chatiw to send it, still moving.
Everything on a small screen
Switch between the rooms, your private chats and your group chats with one tap. Take a photo with the in-chat camera: it gets a Taken live badge, so people know it is fresh. Record a voice note or a short camera clip right from the message box.
Your chats stay on your phone
Without an account, your name and chats belong to the browser on that phone. Add a username and password if you want the same name on a computer too. There is still no email.
